Kris Kristofferson (Brownsville (Texas), 22 juni 1936) is een Amerikaans country-songwriter, zanger en acteur. Hij is voornamelijk bekend van liedjes als "Me and Bobby McGee", "Sunday Mornin' Comin' Down" en "Help Me Make It Through the Night", nummers die veelvuldig door andere artiesten zijn gecoverd, onder wie Janis Joplin, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley en Willie Nelson.
