Hossam Ramzy, nicknamed the Sultan of Swing is the most famous percussionist of Arabic rhythms. Ramzy was born in Cairo, but spent his teenage time in Saudi Arabia where he was the local Bedouin taught him their rhythms. Mid seventies Ramzy moved to England where he still lives.
