Monte Patrick Montgomery (born August 11, 1966) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, at age 13 he moved to San Antonio, Texas. The Austin, Texas based guitarist first gained notoriety in 1999, after performing on an episode of the PBS series Austin City Limits.
