Bruce Haynes (April 14, 1942 – May 17, 2011) was an American and Canadian oboist, recorder player, musicologist and specialist in historical performance practice. Bruce Haynes was born in Louisville, Kentucky in 1942 and began playing the recorder and oboe at an early age. His father also played the recorder and oboe and was a music teacher.
