Ernst Reijseger (Naarden, 1954) is one of the most outstanding cellists of contemporary music. He uses his cello as his voice, to make him laugh, cry, sing, shout, whisper, shout, chirp and squeak. In addition, many different techniques he puts in, such as iron, strumming, drumming on the guitar body and playing the cello as a (funky) guitar.
