Nahko and Medicine for the People is an American world music group headed by the eponymous Nahko Bear. As of , they have released five studio albums. Nahko Bear, of Apache, Puerto Rican, and Filipino descent, was born in Portland, Oregon. He learned to play the piano at the age of six and the guitar at fourteen.
