A Recollection is the title of a piano work that Leos Janácek once wrote for a music magazine. A Recollection is also the appropriate title of a beautiful CD by pianist András Schiff with piano music by Leos Janácek. … Blad and The Barn Owl Did Not Fly Away. The Sonata 1.X.1905 is more realistic. This work was written in memory of a Czech worker who died on the said date during a demonstration. This CD was released on the chic label ECM, which sometimes has too much of a tendency to present its releases from a spiritual beauty experience. This CD can certainly be called beautiful, although some say it is too beautiful.
