This eleventh CD by the Bach Collegium Japan with the cantatas by Bach contains four cantatas from the summer of 1723. Although none of these cantatas are well known, they are music that is definitely worthwhile. Striking, for example, is "Cantata 95 Christus, der is mein Leben".
