Claude Gervaise was a Parisian publisher, composer and arranger active in the 1940s and 50s of the 16th century. He was employed by the famous publisher Pierre Attaingnant. In the third, fourth and fifth books that Attaingnant published, Gervaise is mentioned as the editor. The music for the sixth book was composed by Gervaise herself.
