Gordon's English-language foray, the album Now Is The Time, was not as successful as expected. Because Ik Zo Van Je Hou is another old-fashioned Dutch CD. The eleven new songs were written by Ellert Driessen, Peter van Asten and Piet Souer, among others. Gordon himself provided Dutch adaptations of Celine Dion's Pourque Tu M'aimes Encore (Because I Love You So) and Regarde-moi (Look At Me). Because
… Ik Zo Van Je Hou has become a fresh and varied album with cheerful songs such as Sprakloos, Kijk Maar Naar Mij and De Wereld and beautifully sung ballads such as Anders Dan Met Jou, Die Droom zijn We Lwijt and Zo Suddenly. Of course his latest hit Kijk Niet Meer Om isn't missing.more
