In 1997 Marco Bakker's image was hit hard by the car accident he caused in the Amsterdam Arena, in which a woman died of her injuries. On the first CD released with not too much fuss since that accident, he sings, in addition to a number of solo pieces, duets with artists such as Ruth Jacott, Jody Pijper, Willeke Alberti, Karin Bloemen, Margriet Eshuijs and two of De Drie Baritons: Ernst Daniël
