The CD is like a musical photo album: the sixteen songs have crystallized and matured during the tours that were held from 2000 to 2002. The songs Kazazi, Liria and Engjelushe express Bos' experiences in Albania. The triptych De Overkant, Still In Stone and Van Voor Af Aan are about mourning. Slightly lighter are De Leeuwenkuil and Zij Weet. Bos' relaxed singing and piano playing and the accompaniment of excellent musicians make Donker En Licht an album of great class. (SvdP)more
