2016 was a tragic year for Han Peekel. The media personality was struggling with serious health problems and his wife Theya also became seriously ill. He himself escaped death, but Peekel had to say goodbye to his partner after 47 years of marriage. Peekel dealt with his grief by knocking on the door of his other great love: music. Without falling into self-pity and sentimentality, Peekel sings a series of songs that drip their love for Theya. Arie Kuipers' music always colors the lyrics in a different way.
