… the controls. His songs and arrangements are still of a high standard. The first half of Mademoiselle is clearly the best. A highlight is dark Las Vegas, which evokes pleasant memories of Serge Gainsbourg. In the end, all that summery lightness is a bit heavy on the stomach, but overall Mademoiselle is an entertaining debut by a talented singer. (PdK)more
