Brittany-born singer Nolwenn Leroy was the 2002 winner of the second season of Star Academy. Her debut album Nolwenn was a success in her own country, with hits such as Cassé and Suivre Une Etoile. The follow-up O Filles De L'Eau, also produced by Kelly, elaborates on this 'pop / folk / celtisante' style, with the big difference that Leroy now sings newly composed material. Leroy has a warm and lyrical singing voice and is accompanied with both regular and Celtic instruments.
