Marisa Monte is an indispensable phenomenon in Brazilian pop music in recent years. The music on her albums shows a unique mix of bossa nova, samba, tropicàlia, funk, rock, jazz and pop. Released by her own record company Phonomotor, the 3-DVD box set reflects Montes successful career from 1988 to 1996. Monte chose to make his debut via a 1988 show that aired as a TV Special.
