Petra Berger started her singing career once with her sister as the duo Chess, which scored the hit Never Change A Winning Team. She has now built up a beautiful solo career, with a repertoire that moves between pop and classical. Her angelic, lyrical soprano voice even attracts an international audience; Outside Europe her albums Eternal Woman (2001) and Mistress (2003) were successful in countries
… such as Mexico, Taiwan, Israel and Turkey. Famous women from world history formed the theme on these albums. For her third album Here And Now Berger focuses on the present, on recognizable feelings and values that she finds important in life. The English and Italian songs have been composed by her life partner Jeroen Englebert (also composer for the musical Rembrandt), producer Tjeerd Oosterhuis, Martijn Spierenburg (Within Temptation), Rolf Lovland (Secret Garden) and members of the gothic rock band After Forever.
