On May 9, 2018, saxophonist Benjamin Herman reached his fiftieth birthday. He decided to celebrate with the release of three CDs, of which Project S is the second. That line continues throughout the album, which radiates a strong sense of comfort across the board. At first it was intended that Project S would only be released on cassette tape, but since the cassette recorder is no longer very available in most households, it is a good thing that this beautiful music is now also available on CD and vinyl.
