In February 2002 Dromen Worden Waar, the aptly titled second album by charm singer Grad Damen, was released. Nine months later we can conclude that his dream still continues, because Always Together, the third album by the young Bredanaar is in danger of becoming a huge success again. The first single Selina effortlessly reached the top regions of the Mega Top 100 in the summer of 2002, setting the
… counter for Grad to an unimaginable seven hits in less than two years. Besides Selina there are fourteen other songs on Always Together that are once again about love, happiness, sadness and romance. Yet there are also some differences from the first two albums. For example, Grad has teamed up with a new producer: Edwin van Hoevelaak. This has ensured with subtle changes in direction that the album sounds less corny than, for example, the latest productions by Frans Bauer and Jan Smit. A fine example of this is the new single Ik Always Nog Aan Jou, on which pianist Jan Vayne plays a striking guest role. Also strong is the song Ik Heb Het Always Aleweten, written by André Hazes (!) In collaboration with Jochem Fluitsma and Eric van Tijn. (MvP)more
