There are thirteen life songs on the album, including the Eurovision song Ik Ben Verl Liefde (Sha La Lie). That song belonged to Pierre Kartner, but all other songs were written by Jeffrey Weber, indeed Marianne's son. The song of life suits Sieneke better than the whipped glamor of the Eurovision Song Contest. Marianne Weber's successor is ready and her name is Sieneke. (PdK)more
