Blues guitarist and singer Lurrie Bell is the son of legendary harmonica player Carey Bell. Kiss Of Sweet Blues is a very creditable album, his third for the Delmark label. The music sounds simple, is in keeping with the Chicago blues tradition and is inspired by greats like Albert King. … / organ), Harlan Terson (bass) and Mike Schlick (drums). Fourteen of the fifteen tracks were written by the musicians who contributed to this album.
