Eric Bibb is not likely to be short of inspiration. A year after his last album ( ), the American bluesman now even comes with a double CD. Bibb once again traveled the world for inspiration. He ended up in West Africa once again, where he previously recorded the album with . Bibb feels a strong affinity with the griots, the West African artists who pass on music and stories to the next generation.
Bibb's journey continued through Jamaica, Canada, Sweden, England and France. Local instruments find a place in Bibb's acoustic blues which, as usual, focuses on his uplifting message of love and tolerance. (PdK)more
