On October 14, 2010, saxophonist Susanne Alt performed with her quartet at the Bimhuis in Amsterdam. The concert, which lasted more than two hours, included pieces from her three studio CDs and moves back and forth between swinging soul jazz and modest jazz funk. The warm sound of Alt's alto sax continues up to and including the festive bouncer Happy People In The Morning fascinating and surprising.
