… same, Azymuth has such a unique sound that it never gets boring, even if they went on for another thirty-five years. Aurora recalls their sound from the eighties when they broke through with legendary albums such as Light As A Feather and Telecommunication. Unfortunately, the extremely tight production of these records is not maintained, but the mellow sound and warm use of the vocoder is unmistakably present. Azymuth also shows this time that their great strength lies in their spatial sound. Despite the smooth, virtuoso playing, they still have enough space in their music to create a feeling of peaceful tranquility even with the most uptempo pieces. And very few bands can do that.
