With her album
Freya (2020), Dutch saxophonist Tineke Postma effortlessly found a connection with the current generation of post-bop jazz artists. It consequently earned her international recognition, but this does not stop her from seeking new musical paths with successor Aria. Maria Callas. After all,

Postma, like many of her female contemporaries, manages to combine intense playing with a strong personal touch. (MR)more
