South London singer-songwriter Jelly Cleaver's debut EP opens with the sultry jazz of the title track, complete with sweeping rhythm and gurgling saxophone. Toward the end of this 30-plus minute gem, Cleaver lets loose in the drawn out guitar solo of the slow rocking Black Line. Between these two extremes we also hear neo-soul and committed poetry.
