Robbie McIntosh is best known as the guitarist for The Pretenders. He is also a much sought-after session musician who has played on albums by Paul McCartney, Celine Dion, Roger Daltrey and Talk Talk, among others. Wide Screen is the third album he recorded with his own band. It is full of nice, country-tinted guitar songs. Most notable guest is Pretenders colleague Chrissie Hynde in the duet Fire
