The trio Lasgo from Belgium consists of singer Evi Goffin and the two producers / musicians David Vervoort and Peter Luts. Their debut single Something immediately became a big hit and could not be beaten away from the Dutch, Belgian and Spanish discotheques throughout the summer of 2001. The successor Alone also became a big hit and now there is the first full CD, with which the rest of Europe
… should be conquered. Apparently it took them a lot of effort to fill the disc, because if you don't count the little intro and the (totally unnecessary) remixes of Something and Alone, there are only ten 'real' songs on Some Things. Lasgo makes very danceable and accessible commercial trance music. The strong vocal lines ensure that the songs shoot out in a positive way when you first hear them on the radio or in the disco. However, if you listen to the CD for 45 minutes, everything starts to look alike. The conclusion must therefore be that Lasgo only masters a trick. (MvP)more
