… Six does that several times and with dedication. In songs like She's White and Electric Demons In Love, the band most closely resembles Tom Jones, who is accompanied by The Sweet. The lyrics are sometimes quite absurd, with the text cut 'Let's start a nuclear war at the gay bar' as the most striking example. For subtlety and finesse you are clearly in the wrong place on the debut of the Electric Six, but few other bands are able to convince in such a way with the cheapest style characteristics of pop music.
