LeToya Luckett was part of Destiny's Child's original lineup, but was kicked out of the group along with Latavia Roberson in early 2000. To their surprise, Destiny's Child had already unknowingly recorded a video clip for the single Say My Name, with two replacements. A conflict with manager Mathew Knowles (Beyoncé's father) was at the root of the split. Roberson and Luckett first tried to move on
