Exactly thirty years after Jethro Tull's prog milestone Thick As A Brick (TAAB), this is a sequel of the brain and frontman of this British group Ian Anderson. The iconic original appeared in 1972, packaged in the St. Cleve Chronicle newspaper with on the front page the (fictional) story of the young poet Gerald Bostock (aka Little Milton) whose prize-winning poem Thick As A Brick is perceived as
… too shocking after his had nominated on television. So he still misses his price. The never-devoid of humor Jethro Tull performs the poem in a dizzying progfolk and rock suite. In the second part Anderson (packaged in the St. Cleve internet edition) tells how the now fifty-year-old Bostock has fared further. This new suite also musically continues the line of the original and is full of quotes. But this only goes to show how timeless Anderson sounds at his best and makes TAAB 2 an indispensable sequel.
