In the United States, Rascal Flatts regularly storms the charts with rock-solid country pop. In Europe, however, the trio is virtually unknown and Changed is unlikely to change that. The eighth studio album of the three from Columbus, Ohio is even more country than the previous records. On the other side of the ocean, Changed is now showered with rave reviews, which is not surprising. The no fewer
… than fifteen tracks have been perfected down to the smallest details and could all be released as a single. The infectious Banjo is already very popular on those American country channels and we have to wait until the title track Changed will also be released as a single. Changed remains a wonderful album until the cheerful ending Next To You, Next To Me. Rippling banjos, rocking guitars and especially the formidable harmony vocals make it a sublime country record. High time we started to see this here in Europe. (BvdV)more
