The life of an instrumental band is not about roses. Without an eye-catching vocalist, it is difficult for many bands to keep the audience's attention for the entire length of the average playing time of a CD. apparently have no problem with this, because Therapy is already their ninth studio CD. Now and then they call in the help of vocalists, but as a rule they do it in their own instrumental
… way. Once started as a funk band strongly influenced by and , they grew over time into a company that went on the jazz tour just as easily. Therapy also stands for versatility: raw weird groove (Old Man Noises, Monday Meters, Soul Sista), by inspired soul jazz (Morning Fly), soul pop (I Want You To Stay), live like house (When It Rains…) and much more. Therapy also makes it clear that The New Mastersounds are still growing very strongly. Almost every CD is better than its predecessor. (AD)more
