The British band Starsailor named itself at the beginning of this century after an album by singer / songwriter Tim Buckley and called his son Jeff - also deceased much too young - as an important source of inspiration. The band members are approaching 40 and now have the necessary life experience. This is reflected in the surprisingly strong and sturdy All This Life. In the early years the band was sometimes worn out for a light, in grim songs like Listen To Your Heart, Take A Little Time and the dark electronica decorated FIA (F ** k It All) Starsailor sounds much more urgent than Chris Martin and his people.
