Far away from his home in Berlin, Manuel Göttsching found a special company that brought his old band Ash Ra Tempel back to life. In the 1970s, Göttsching was the high priest of the German Cosmic Music with Ash Ra Tempel. The well-known keyboardist drums there for a while. Notorious (but certainly not their best work) was the album 7 Up (1972), which was recorded under the spiritual direction of
… the American LSD guru . It was named after the soft drink Leary dissolved the hallucinating agent in for the band. Part of this album will now be featured during a live concert in Melbourne, with Göttsching, American singer / songwriter (vocals and bass) and Australian drone and ambient artist. (drums). During this one-off event, massive trance rock, with the lead role for Göttsching's lyrical guitar playing, came back to life.
