Rick De Leeuw left his Amsterdam loft and went to the Belgian countryside. This revolution in his life resulted in an awareness and confrontation with reality and you can hear that in his music. The raw edge sometimes takes on funny shapes and other times dark.
The music is provided by Jan Hautekiet (keys), Axl Peleman (bass), Ron Reuman (drums), Roeland Vandemoortele (electric guitar) and Manu Huylebroek (acoustic guitar). Just like on previous albums, De Leeuw develops himself as a lyricist and sounds recognizable with his typical articulation. (JvQ)more
