(2018) is less than two years old when Love & Peace is released. It should be clear that Seasick Steve is still not in the mood to retire. Again he sounds lively and full of energy, as evidenced by the opening and title track in which he works towards a dazzling climax with his swirling blues rock. He wrote and produced this tenth album himself. Steve's message is to spread love and peace through
… his music during a time when there is a lot of uncertainty in the world. He therefore wanted a hopeful sound, as evidenced by the energetic undertone of this album. On Love & Peace you mainly hear his characteristic raw blues rock, mixed with boogie, americana and folk, in which many virtuoso guitar solos are incorporated. Steve is assisted on this album by drummer Dan Magnusson aka Crazy Dan, ) and harmonica player Malcolm Arison ( ). (JvQ)more
