The Vision is a musical cooperation between singer Ben Westbeech and dj/producer Kon. Both are in their own way working in the dance-scene for years, Westbeech as a soul singer and Kon as a disco producer. They joined forces and started producing themselves what they missed in contemporary dance music: productions with passages recorded by musicians. Thus, they started in 2016 and first released
… the singles Heaven and Mountains. Both are funky disco tracks, sung by Andreya Triana who now also provides vocals for most of their eponymous debut. Furthermore, The Vision showcases more funky, soulful and jazzy sides on this album. This is largely due to the fat bass parts by Xander Vrienten. Westbeech is responsible for a number of songs in his well-known blue eyed soul style. Guest appearances are reserved for vibraphone legend Roy Ayers, DJ Honey Dijon, the vocal trio Dames Brown and singer Nikki-O. (AD)more
