… light of day. Her debut album has the obligatory title Reckless and is full of songs about booze, pills, cigarettes and the feral behaviour that goes with it. She sings this raw and lived through and doesn't let it be known that her songs are autobiographical. With Wade's origins in Virginia, her southern American street daisy chop is also in order. The rough country rock of Wade, who has stopped drinking, certainly doesn't sound original, but you can believe every word of it. (MR)more
