Singer and saxophonist Julien Lesuisse grew up in Lyon and was always intrigued by the Sicilian songs his grandmother used to sing to him. In the same Lyon he played for a while in the French-Algerian crossover band Mazalda. Both influences now return on Luci E Guai, Crimi's debut album.
