After the promising self-titled
debut (2012) by Parisian Melody Prochet aka Melody's Echo Chamber, successor
Bon Voyage (2018) was a lot more whimsical. After Bon Voyage, Prochet was still struggling with the effects of a brain hemorrhage, but also became a mother and traded Paris for the Alps. It caused her to make important choices. That affected the music of Emotional Eternal. It still borrows
… from the same influences that can also be found on Bon Voyage, but the whole thing shoots in less all directions. In a dreamy way, psychedelic music, bedroom pop and touches of French chanson are interwoven into a sultry whole. Prochet sings and whispers in beautiful pop songs in which the string and string instruments dart around each other. (JvQ)more
