After
3 (The Purple Album) (2018), the Danish band around Lukas Forchhammer comes highly original with 4 (The Pink Album). However, a new color does not mean a new musical turn. This fourth album seems like it was written directly for the radio station, with upbeat and light-hearted pop music that doesn't really stand out from other pop artists in the same style. Uplifting songs alternate with more
… subdued ones. Think of the latter as an attempt to incorporate some emotion. Although the whole thing is not really exciting, it listens nicely. Therefore, the same conclusion must be drawn as with their self-titled debut (2016): the originality is far from it, but the pop songs are effective. (JvQ)more
