His mission succeeded, as 72 Seasons is again full of relentless riffs, furious rhythms with unwieldy interludes and screaming guitar solos. Hetfield's vocals sound urgent and raw, while the lyrics tackle his addictions. On 72 Seasons, Metallica has rediscovered the old fire and show they are still among the top of metal. (MR)more
