… the songs were recorded by himself. Lonely Citizen is a surprisingly varied one. The record kicks off with the stoner-like Possessed, later we hear the funky I Like Boys, the folky Houdini, but Ayala's familiar indie and punk influences also remain abundant. Despite the fact that the band currently consists of only one lone citizen, Lonely Citizen has become a very strong record. (JV)more
