In the past, 44-year-old Steve Hillage was part of the fusion band Khan and later of the symphonic rock group Gong. With former filmmaker Miquette Giraud from Nice, France, who was fascinated by synthezisers, he formed System 7. Power Of Seven is System 7's fourth album and is a mixture of ambient, techno and trance. The first half of the CD is quite calm with often repetitive ambient songs. With
