"Sambolera" by the African-born singer Khadja Nin is a worthy successor to "Ya pili ...". This new CD contains eleven tracks in which pop music and African music are pleasantly integrated. Nin is accompanied by excellent musicians such as percussionists Luis Jardim, Philippe Mobers and Chris Joris and by saxophonist Frank Deruytter and guitarist Dizzy Mandjeku, who can be heard on "M'Barik Fall".
