Metamorphoses was performed live during Jean-Michel Jarre's concert Twelve Dreams Of The Sun at the Pyramids of Giza in Egypt on December 31, 1999. For the studio version of this concert, Jarre spent three months in a studio in the South of France in 1999. Metamorphoses differs from his earlier work.
