As the title indicates, this DVD is a live recording of a concert that the American rock band 3 Doors Down gave in Houston, Texas. A real rock concert, with lots of lights and flames and sweat for both the band and the audience. Of course the hits are played, such as Kryptonite, When I'm Gone and Here Without You, the ballad that became an unexpected big hit. So much for the content of the DVD.
Because what it is perhaps even more about is how this concert is performed, and especially the sound. Away From The Sun offers a High Definition Surround Sound Experience. Two different surround mixes, one from the audience and one from the stage, should bring the viewer the ultimate live experience, just on the couch at home. The extras besides the concert on this DVD are mainly about which equipment you need for this and how best to set up the speakers. Very interesting. (IV)more
