In the Netherlands, we know Jerry Douglas mainly as the man who plays dobro (a string instrument) on albums by Alison Krauss, Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, Garth Brooks and Ricky Skaggs. In addition, he has been making solo records since 1979, which, however, never received much attention in the Netherlands. His eleventh effort is called Lookout For Hope (2002).
