The name Children For Children is a household name for everyone who grew up in the Netherlands in the 1980s and 1990s (and their parents). Probably nobody around 1980 at the VARA would have dared to think that in 2001 we would be ready for part 22 again. Well-known lyricists this time included Peter Groot Kormelink (ex-Jazz police), Koos Meinderts (ex-Klein Orchestra), Bob Fosko (ex-Raggende Manne), Jan-Paul van der Mey, Roel Esseboom and Robert Long. The best songs include Supersaai (about visits to Grandma), Hé Pap and the 'love song' Frederieke, which only turns out to be about a pet at the end.
